Hi all! I just wanted to let you know that my RPG I’ve been working on for the last couple of years, which I had been referring to as “Free Tiya Bannet”, now has an official name: “Through Broken Land“. We don’t have a fancy logo or anything to share yet but I did want to let people know about this change – I’m probably going to go back through the past articles and stuff and change the text just so that people can find those resources.
Relatedly, I wrote a poem. It would be a diegetic poem that will exist somewhere in the game (Pia Pallo is the fictional poem’s author). Some of you might know that there are some magically-animated stuffed animal people in this game. This is kind of like their “serenity prayer”, something many of them know and often “say”. I put “say” in quotes, because these people can’t actually speak themselves – they have no mouths. So what they do is establish a sort of link with someone who can speak (a human, a demon, a skeleton person, etc) and that person becomes their “handler”: someone who can say out loud what the stuffed animal person would say. I feel like this is kind of helpful to understanding some of this poem. Anyway, here it is!
